Engaged in diverse volunteer efforts, including the Capture the WU competition and High School Cybersecurity Summer Camp at WSU.

Capture the WU

  • Hosted by WSU, open to high school and junior college participants.
  • Created a SQL injection challenge with Vite (frontend), PHP (backend), and Docker for distribution.
    • Challenge required participants to somehow get access to the admin account to retrieve the flag.
  • Assisted with administrative tasks, challenge grading, and web oriented challenges.

High School Cybersecurity Summer Camp

  • Week-long camp focused on cybersecurity education for high school students.
  • Taught Linux basics, advantages, commands, and some history in a classroom setting.
  • Mentored students during a CTF competition, fostering teamwork. My team secured second place!
    • My team was very happy with the results, and I was proud of them for their hard work.
